Rick Charette has been writing and performing for children for 30 years. His first collection of songs, “Bubblegum” was published in 1983 and was followed in 1985 by “Alligator in the Elevator.” The success of these early collections launched a full-time career of writing and performing for young audiences. The simple, fun nature of Rick’s music is contagious and is reminiscent of the early Sesame Street and Schoolhouse Rock animated segments that drew me in as a kid.
